« La exposición « Obra-Colección. El artista como coleccionista », comisariada por Joan Fontcuberta, es un proyecto de producción propia que se presenta por primera vez en la Fundació Foto Colectania y que documenta una situación actual en auge: el tránsito del coleccionismo de creación a la creación como coleccionismo. A través de la obra de 10 artistas, Ève Cadieux, Emilio Chapela Pérez, Hans Eijkelboom, Erik Kessels, Martin Parr, Jean-Gabriel Périot, Joachim Schmid, Richard Simpkin, Eric Tabuchi y Penelope Umbrico, esta exposición propone un análisis de la fotografía contemporánea, una de las líneas de programación de Foto Colectania. Coproducida con la Fundació Banc Sabadell, la exposición se podrá ver en Foto Colectania del 21 de febrero al 25 de mayo de 2013.
Además, coincidiendo con la exposición « De ahora en adelante. La postfotografia en la era de internet y la telefonía móvil », que se celebra en Arts Santa Mònica, se organizará conjuntamente un programa de actividades entorno a las dos exposiciones (se anunciará próximamente). »

Artwork as Collection. The Artist as Collector.
« The exhibition curated by Joan Fontcuberta, is a self-produced project presented at the Foto Colectania Foundation for the first time. It aims to confirm a current growing situation: the shift from the collection of artworks to the artwork as collection. Through the work of 10 artists, Ève Cadieux, Emilio Chapela Perez, Hans Eijkelboom, Erik Kessels, Martin Parr, Jean-Gabriel Périot, Joachim Schmid, Richard Simpkin, Eric Tabuchi and Penelope Umbrico, this exhibition provides an analysis on contemporary photography, one of Colectania’s main exhibition lines. Co-produced with the Fundació Banc Sabadell, the exhibition will be displayed in Foto Colectania from 21st February through 25th May, 2013.
In addition, coinciding with the exhibition « From here on. Post-photography in the age of Internet and Mobile Phones » presented in Arts Santa Monica, a program of parallel activities will be organized around the two exhibitions. »
